INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA
Faith at the Crossroads fellows make the choice to live in an intentional Christian community for 11 months. Throughout the year of service fellows are steeped in the Christian traditions of contemplation and mysticism, liberation theology, and peace-building. Fellows share meals and pray together a few times each week, and pursue opportunities for study and discernment together. During the year, fellows and program staff also enjoy retreats to strengthen community and deepen personal discernment including a Peace and Justice Pilgrimage. Fellows live alongside other young adults local to Indy in the St. Benedict House on Trinity Church's campus. The 12 Habits of a Reconciler created by The Rose Castle Foundation in England form the basis for the community Rule of Life. Fellows receive health insurance, subsidized therapy, spiritual direction, a transportation stipend or pass for public transportation, vocational mentoring, housing, internet, utilities and a $400 monthly stipend and $250/month for food.
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
Jubilee Year is an award-winning program providing a personally and professionally transformative service year to raise up a new generation of change makers for the world. In addition to a monthly stipend to cover expenses, Jubilee Year provides fellows with furnished housing, utilities (incl. cable and internet), a monthly community fund, Annual Metro Pass (Public Transit), insurance coverage, and $600/ month + $50 per fellow per month in "community funds." JYLA also provides mentorship, monthly group dialogue sessions, quarterly retreats, professional development, and access to and interaction with our social and professional network.
Your year in the Johnson Service Corps is an opportunity to grow personally, professionally and spiritually through a well-supported mix of justice work, leadership training, spiritual practice, and living in intentional community in Durham, North Carolina. JSC internship placements include economic, environmental, and racial justice-oriented nonprofits. JSC provides housing, utilities, food stipend, health insurance, group counseling, quarterly retreats, mentorship, $500 monthly stipend, and $1000 completion bonus.
SOUTH HADLEY, MASSACHUSETTS
The Lawrence House Service Corps enables young adults to engage in living a life that matters, connecting their spiritual lives with service that makes a difference. Lawrence House provides fellows with furnished housing, utilities, insurance coverage, $150 for food and a $150 cash stipend.
CODY, WYOMING
Through On Sacred Ground – Wyoming Service Corps, young leaders and seekers share a contemplative environment in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, just 50 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Corps members spends a great deal of time in the natural world exploring our inner and outer landscapes, discerning one’s greater place in God’s creation. During the WSC year, Corps members in Wyoming receive health insurance, mental health therapy, art therapy, spiritual direction, and housing at the Wyoming Episcopal Diocese Retreat Center, Thomas the Apostle Center. Fellows receive a $250 monthly personal stipend, $900 collective food monies, $400 collective transportation monies and a $250 completion award.
ROCKFORD, MICHIGAN
Plainsong Farm is a living laboratory where corps members can experiment with how to pray, rest, belong, grow, and play. This ten month program offers immersive experiences and education in small-scale regenerative agriculture, spiritual practice, and communal living. Dates of service: January-November 2025. Weekly commitment: 32 work hours per week, 8 formation hours per week. Compensation: $425 monthly stipend, housing, utilities, end-of-service award, health insurance, spiritual direction, therapy, and seasonal vegetables (total estimated value of $12,000).
PHILADELPHIA, PA
Young adults joining Servant Year commit to a year of volunteer local service, as well as a common rhythm of life, spiritual companionship and asking big questions. Servant Year offers Corps members a $600 per month stipend with up to a $100 match for retirement along with housing, utilities, spiritual direction, and individual and group therapy. Members receive health insurance, and the program covers all co-pays for care. A $5,000 education award to help with student loans or continued education after the program, is available to all members. The program also covers travel costs for arrival and departure for the year of service and one trip during the service year. The program also supplies each member with a $500 clothing allowance at the beginning of the year.
