Episcopal Service Corps Hires New Executive Director

Patty Olson Lindsey has been named the new Executive Director of the Episcopal Service Corps. She was previously the Executive Director of Ascension School Camp and Conference Center in the Diocese of Eastern Oregon, where she served for 10 years.  Patty grew up in the Diocese and attended summer camp at Ascension School as a child.

Patty is passionate about lifelong Christian formation and helping people find pathways to developing their relationship with God, the environment and each other.

In her role as the executive director of Ascension School Camp and Conference Center, Patty oversaw all operations of the facility including financials, fund development, marketing and youth and adult programming.  She most enjoyed working with her staff to facilitate meaningful program and retreat experiences for the attendees. Patty is also a Board Member for the Episcopal Camps and Conference Centers organization.

Patty received her BA in Sociology from the University of Oregon.  Prior to her work for Ascension School, Patty worked in social services, researching, developing and evaluating programs, grant writing and facilitating long range planning.  She is excited to use her skills from her previous work to further the mission of the Episcopal Service Corps.

She and her husband, Andy, have two children, Riley and Jake, and they reside in Cove, Oregon.  They enjoy backpacking, paddle boarding, watching movies and eating good food together.

Patty will be working with Jed Dearing, ESC Interim Director, for the next few weeks as she transitions into her new role.  Please feel free to contact her at Patty@EpiscopalServiceCorps.org
